Forklift Repair in Denver, CO

Diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance for electric, propane, gas and diesel forklifts — on-site across the Denver metro or in our Lakewood shop. Same-day response and 24/7 emergency dispatch.

A forklift down for a day stops more than one operator — it backs up the whole dock. We troubleshoot drive trains, hydraulics, masts, electrical systems and ICE engines on every major brand, and we'll tell you straight whether it's worth fixing or whether you'd be better off renting while you decide.

What we fix

What we service

Class I through Class V — counterbalanced, reach, narrow aisle and rough-terrain. If you can roll it onto our floor or we can roll out to it, we can probably fix it.

01

Mast and hydraulics

Lift cylinders, tilt cylinders, mast rollers, chains and hoses. We rebuild cylinders in-house on the same bench used for industrial hydraulics — no outsourcing, no week-long delay.

02

Drivetrain and transmission

Powershift, hydrostatic and electric drive systems. Diagnostics with manufacturer-grade scan tools, then targeted repair instead of parts-cannon guesswork.

03

Engine — propane, gas, diesel

Tune-ups, fuel system service, ignition, cooling, exhaust. We handle full engine swaps when needed and source rebuilt or new long-blocks at competitive pricing.

04

Electrical and battery (electric units)

Controller diagnostics, motor testing, battery health checks, charger verification. We can also recommend battery replacement timing so you're not surprised by a dead pack mid-shift.

05

Brakes, steering and safety

Wet brakes, drum brakes, steer cylinders, horns, lights, seat switches. OSHA-compliant inspection paperwork available with every repair.

Our process

Our process

The same four steps as every job. You sign before any wrench moves, and you see updates as the work happens.

  1. 01

    1 · Diagnostic

On-site dispatch for a flat fee. We isolate the actual fault — drivetrain, hydraulic, electrical or operator-induced — and give you a clear path forward.

  2. 02

    2 · Itemized estimate

Digital estimate with parts at cost and labor by line item. You approve before any chargeable work starts. Our diagnostic fee credits toward the repair if you proceed.

  3. 03

    3 · Repair

On-site for everything we can handle in the field. In-shop for major rebuilds (mast, transmission, engine swap). Photos and notes posted to your tracking link as we go.

  4. 04

    4 · Operational handoff

Function check on every system we touched. Operator walk-through if you want one. Paperwork covers what was done and any items we're recommending you watch.

Why choose us

Why Pro Lift Solutions

Six things every fleet manager in the Denver metro should know about us before calling anyone else.

01

In-house pressure-test bench

Most independent shops outsource pressure verification. We do it in our own Lakewood shop, so every cylinder leaves verified at working pressure. No "it should be fine" estimates.

02

Bilingual English / Spanish

Helver and the team speak both, fluently. Spanish-speaking operators are not handed off to a translator. Quotes, ESIGN estimates and shop floor communication all happen in your language.

03

Owner-operated, not absentee

Helver Ortega is the founder and the lead technician. The person diagnosing your problem is the person who signs the warranty.

04

Transparent digital ESIGN estimates

Every job gets a written estimate before work begins. No phone-call surprises. If we have to route work out (hard-chrome, proprietary servo seals), the partner's portion is itemized separately.

05

Same-day diagnostics, 24/7 emergency

Most diagnostics happen the day you call. After-hours hydraulic failures get a real human, not voicemail. Dispatch is included in service, not a separate line item.

06

Built for commercial downtime math

We understand that a forklift or cylinder down is $400+/hour in lost production. Our scheduling, parts inventory and partner network are all built around that reality, not around residential expectations.

We had three forklifts down at once before a delivery. Pro Lift had two running in a day and the third by end of week. Saved the week, honestly.
— Warehouse manager, distribution center (Aurora)
First shop quoted us a full transmission swap. Helver came out, found a small valve was the actual problem, fixed it the same afternoon.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • Do you service all forklift brands?

Yes — Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Crown, Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Komatsu, Clark and the rest. We use manufacturer-grade scan tools so diagnostics aren't a guessing game.

  • Can you come on-site or do I have to bring the forklift in?

On-site for almost everything. We bring the forklift to the shop only for major rebuilds (full mast, transmission, engine work) where the bench and lift make a real difference.

  • What's an OSHA forklift inspection and do you do them?

OSHA requires a daily operator inspection and periodic (often annual) professional inspection of every powered industrial truck. Yes, we perform documented inspections and provide the paperwork your safety officer needs.

  • Do you handle emergencies?

Yes. 24/7 emergency dispatch is included. Call (720) 472-8823 directly. For genuine downtime emergencies we'll move other work to get you running.

  • How quickly can you respond to a forklift breakdown?

During business hours, typical on-site response across the Denver metro is 60-90 minutes. After-hours emergencies depend on technician availability but we aim for under 2 hours. For genuine downtime emergencies (production line, dock blocked) call (720) 472-8823 directly instead of using the form — it routes faster.

  • Do you sell forklifts or only repair them?

We do not sell new forklifts. We service, repair, maintain and rent (with operator). For new equipment purchases we can refer to local dealers we trust. For used equipment, we can inspect before you buy — fixed-fee pre-purchase inspection saves customers thousands.
